Head to the NHM for after-hours programming in conjunction with the special exhibition, Becoming Jane: The Evolution of Dr. Jane Goodall. Each evening you’ll be able to delve deeper into the inspirational work of Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace, and learn how her example shaped the practices of these disciplines today. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the exhibition after-hours, view unique collections, and enjoy an in-depth panel discussion with experts in the field.
In March, you will learn how ethologist and activist Dr. Jane Goodall’s work in environmental conservation and activism has inspired generations to protect our natural world. Join us in conversation with Lila Higgins, NHM’s Senior Manager of Community Science, Marcos Trinidad, Director of the Audubon Center at Debs Park, and Laurel Watkins, Roots & Shoots Program Officer, JGI-USA, as they discuss the best practices for encouraging communities to come together and make positive changes to the world around them with moderator Patt Morrison.
