American Contemporary Ballet opens its 10th season in Los Angeles with the world’s first immersive staging of The Nutcracker Suite. Inspired by E.T.A Hoffmann‘s mysterious, romantic telling of the tale, ACB’s unusual take on the ballet has surprised and charmed audiences, generating ticket wait lists since its 2017 debut.
Performances will take place in the company’s new Hollywood performance space, which offers ACB’s signature city views. Audiences will also be surrounded by Tchaikovsky’s majestic score, performed live by some of the city’s finest classical musicians.
Guests can meet the Sugar Plum Fairy, all her Land of Sweets subjects, and the musicians at a post-show reception.
