Actor, rapper, singer, songwriter and philanthropist Jaden Smith is opening a new vegan restaurant “I love you” restaurant that will provide free vegan meals to homeless in LA. The new “I love you” restaurant project follow the celebrity’s food truck initiative that has been feeding the individuals who are experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles and New York for around two years now to give “people what they deserve, healthy, vegan food for free.”

The “I Love You” restaurant will serve nutritional food such as grain bowls and other healthy vegan alternatives. Anyone will be able to order for the restaurant and those who are able to pay for their meals will be encouraged to pay it forward so that the needy are able to receive nutritious and delicious plant-based meals.

Jaden explained:

“It’s for homeless people to get free food, but if you’re not homeless, not only do you have to pay, but you have to pay for more than the food’s worth so that you can pay for the person behind you.”

Jaden also owns the JUST Water company and has put in a water filtration system in Flint, Michigan two years ago after residents struggled to get clean drinking water between 2014 – 2019.

The JUST Water package is made of the carton which is 100% recyclable, efficient to ship, and you can reuse it on-the-go.

At only 10 years old, Jaden Smith launched the idea for JUST after seeing plastic trash floating around him while surfing.

“I saw what happens when plastic goes to waste in our environment and how it affects us… I needed to do something and make a difference. So, we’re trying to eliminate as much plastic as possible. I want to make it easier [for people] to be part of the solution.”

The restaurant doesn’t have a set opening date yet, but follow @c.syresmith and @iloveyourestaurant. We can’t wait to try this amazing vegan food and help those in need!
