The Gaming Legacy

MapleStory first launched globally in 2005 and has since attracted over 260 million players worldwide. The game revolutionized online gaming with its unique 2D art style and character customization options. Furthermore, it continues to evolve with new content and features that keep Long Beach gamers engaged.

The highlight of the day will be the MapleStory Showcase, where Inkwell and Development Director Kwanghyun Lim (Dr. Lim) unveil the upcoming Winter Update with new content, features, and surprises. Consequently, attendees will be among the first to learn about future game developments.

This marks the first major gaming convention of this scale in Long Beach, bringing together thousands of players from across Los Angeles County. The event demonstrates the growing importance of gaming culture in the region. Similarly, it showcases Long Beach as an emerging destination for major entertainment events.

Attendees will receive personalized badges featuring their in-game names, creating a unique connection between virtual and real-world gaming communities. Therefore, this event bridges the gap between online friendships and face-to-face interactions in the Los Angeles gaming scene.
