Located in the Arts District of Los Angeles Manuela is an authentic and original dining experience! Executive Chef Kris Tominaga is in the charge of the menu that celebrates seasonal ingredients sourced from the best farms and producers in Southern California.

Manuela features a wide range of vegetables, grains, fish and an exemplary bar program with classic cocktails using house-made bitters and tonics. They also offer local beers on tap and carefully selected wines.

Original works of art and special commissions by artists such as Paul McCarthy, Mark Bradford, Franz West, Mary Heilmann, Raymond Pettibon, Dieter Roth and Subodh Gupta have been installed in the restaurant.

Manuela recently expanded into the the Hauser & Wirth complex’s street art-filled garden. Reserve your Friday nights for Manuela where from from 5:30 to 9pm you can find eight tiki-inspired cocktails (about $15 each) along with a similarly breezy beer menu with selections like Tiki Time Tropical Wheat and Stem Hibiscus Cider.

With some tiki standards like Mai Tais (with Gustoso light rum, Macademia nut orgeat, Cointreau, lime, Liliko’i foam) during Tropical Nights, you’ll also have the option to up the refreshment with sparkling options for the daquiris and mescal-based piña colada milk punch.

If you get hungry, try chili de arbol chicken, garlic shrimp and pencil cobb grits. The Garden Bar only takes walk-ins (Manuela takes reservations). For non-Tropical Nights, Garden Bar is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 9pm.
