Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve
This 5,600-acre preserve has several hiking trails with amazing views. If you don’t feel like taking a hike, you can have a picnic among shady oaks or enjoy a bike ride.
California red-legged frog, the San Fernando Valley spine flower and the Southwestern willow flycatcher are permanently protected here.

Top of Topanga Overlook
Located above the San Fernando Valley, from here you can enjoy a breathtaking views of the Santa Monica Mountains, San Gabriel Mountains and the San Fernando Valley below. Also, this is a great place for picnic. If you’re feeling romantic, take your partner to Top of Topanga at night to see the sparkling city lights.

Orcutt Ranch Horticultural Center
Orcutt Ranch is a historical ranch surrounded by 24-acres of gardens and a citrus orchard. In the gardens you can find heritage oak tress, interesting specimen trees, exotic shrubs, flowering pants, formal flower beds and more. One of the largest oak tree on the ranch is more than 33′ in circumference and it is estimated to be more than 700 years old. How wild is that?
The Orcutt residence blends Spanish Colonial Revival with Mission Revival style.
