The hotel’s rooftop pool and bar WET offers amazing views of the city.

At the Delphine, the W’s indoor-outdoor eatery you will eat delicious breakfast such as egg benny and brioche French toast.

A mile to the north from the hotel lies the charming Franklin Village with the Scientology Celebrity Center (home of the mysterious chosen creed of Tom Cruise) and the sweet Beachwood Cafe sits under one of the best views of the Hollywood Sign.

A great way to spend an active morning in the fresh air is with coffee at the outdoor gem Trails Cafe, at the foot of a hike leading up to the Griffith Park Observatory with its iconic views and planetarium show.

The Pantages Theatre is across the street from the W – you can enjoy an evening show or grab tickets to a matinee. Music lovers should visit Amoeba Music, a sprawling record store on Cahuenga and Sunset.

For dinner we recommend Katsuya if you’re in the mood for the amazing sushi!

Across the street from the W is the iconic Frolic Room where Bukowski himself once held court. You can’t leave Hollywood without visiting it!

The hotel is a short stroll away from Amoeba Records, the world’s largest independent record store, the beloved singer-songwriter venue the Hotel Cafe, grungy rock ‘n roll hang out the Burgundy Room, not to mention the iconic Capitol Records building, home to studios and echo chambers used by Frank Sinatra and Paul McCartney, and where The Beach Boys recorded “Surfin’ USA.”

We recommend visiting Musso & Frank Grill, the oldest restaurant in Hollywood founded in 1919. Charlie Chaplin had his own booth there, and Raymond Chandler is said to have written “The Big Sleep” in the back room.

Try their famous flannel cakes and coffee (Greta Garbo’s favorite) and remember to come back one night for a Martini, which Dita Von Teese swears is the best in town.

Not too far away is Hollywood Bowl, one of the most magical outdoor music venues in the world where you can catch your favorite band playing.
