The Garland Hotel
This seven-acre sanctuary is located in the San Fernando Valley. The hotel was opened in 1972 and thanks to decor, it still feels like you are in the 70s.
The hotel has vintage vibe and modern style thanks to $20-million restoration in 2015. The revamp of this hotel was the vision of the hotel’s managing partner James Crank.

This Valley’s hotel’s turquoise aesthetic will take you straight back to 1962, the year it was built. It is located about 15 minutes north of Hollywood of the 101 Freeway.
After you wake up, you have to check up Patio Cafe where you can try beer-battered fish and chips (Gilligan’s Island) or vegan friendly eggplant-tofu lasagna (The Twilight Zone). While you eat, check out the black and white photos of Hollywood’s Golden era’s stars like Lauren Bacall and John Wayne.
