Rose Bowl

The Rose Bowl Stadium, recognized as home to one of the nation’s largest and longest running shows to celebrate America’s birthday, host the annual AmericaFest Celebration on July 4th. Festivities include a thirty-minute motocross show, musical performances and other family-friendly activities.

The fireworks show on Monday, July 4, 2022 starts at 9 p.m. and lasts 20 minutes. This is a popular event, with visitors traveling to the area from throughout the Southland. Plan to arrive as early as 1 p.m. and stay in the Marina to avoid traffic.

Fireworks crown the Hollywood sky on three huge nights at the Bowl, when Thomas Wilkins and the Los Angeles Philharmonic perform a program of favorites—along with two of the funniest, most influential, and most acclaimed talents of the past century: Steve Martin and Martin Short. Cinespia and Hollywood Forever are teaming up for 3 nights of festivities. July 2nd kicks off with a screening of “The Fast And The Furious” followed by fireworks. July 3rd also includes a light show with a screening of the iconic “Purple Rain.” Fourth of July finishes off with “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” Again, be sure to stay after each movie because the venue will be putting on an incredible firework show with music!
