A brand-new Musical Twilight Matinee for kids 2 to 102 premieres in person at Santa Monica Playhouse<\/a><\/strong> this August as the inaugural production for the Welcome Back Series, playing Fridays at 6pm, August 6 through September 24, 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n

EVER AFTER TAKE TWO<\/a><\/strong> is an interactive musical where audience members help set the fairytale world back on track as they follow the real-life adventures of Snow White, Hansel and Gretel, Alice and the Queens (sic) of Hearts, Puss In Boots, the Frog Prince<\/strong> and a host of other beloved characters. Get dressed up (or down) and get ready to step inside a real theatre for a real in-person experience.<\/p>\n

Celebrating the first live Playhouse musical after the lockdown, Ever After Take Two is written by Actors’ Repertory Theatre Associate Director Graham Silbert<\/strong> in collaboration with the award-winning team of Chris DeCarlo<\/strong> and Evelyn Rudie<\/strong>, directed by DeCarlo <\/strong>and Silbert<\/strong>, with music and lyrics by E. Rudie<\/strong>, and features Tiffany Haile<\/strong>, Cydne Moore<\/strong>, Joseph Perez<\/strong> and Graham Silbert<\/strong>. Awesome special effects and video projections are by James Cooper<\/strong>, with delightful costumes by Ashley Hayes<\/strong> and Silbert<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Santa Monica Playhouse programs are supported in part by grants from the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture, the City of Santa Monica and the Santa Monica Arts Commission, the Ahmanson Foundation, the Rotary Club Foundation and Playhouse PALS.<\/p>\n
