Grand Park&#8217;s Downtown D\u00eda de los Muertos is a <em><strong>community-oriented space inviting park-goers to contribute to the community altar, ideated by artist and educator Consuelo Flores and to stroll through the park viewing numerous altars made by professional artists and local organizations.<\/strong> <\/em>Additional public programs and activities on the opening day to include, poetry reading by <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/womenwhosubmitlit.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Women Who Submit <\/a><\/em><\/strong><em>and <\/em><strong><em>Luis Rodriguez, musical performance by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/mariachilascatrinas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Las Catrinas Mariachi Band<\/a>, dance performance by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/BalletFolkloricohuitzillin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grupo Folklorico Huitzillin<\/a> with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aztlandance.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Teatro Aztlan<\/a>, sugar skull decorating with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/eastlossweets\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">East Los Sweets<\/a> and colorful chalk art with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/kdaze\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KDaze Art<\/a>.
