The Italian American Museum of Los Angeles, or IAMLA<\/a><\/strong>, is located in the historic Italian Hall<\/strong>, which was constructed in 1908<\/strong> to serve as a gathering place for the Italian community.<\/em> Today, the Italian Hall is the oldest remaining structure from Los Angeles’ Italian enclave, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

A Real Boy: The Many Lives of Pinocchio<\/a><\/strong> explores the cultural origins, interpretations, and enduring appeal of one of the most popular characters in children’s literature.<\/strong> Written in 1883<\/strong> by Italian author Carlo Collodi<\/a><\/strong>, The Adventures of Pinocchio has delighted generations. The book has been translated into over 260 languages<\/strong>\u2014a number exceeded only by the Bible.<\/p>\n
