Singer, songwriter and actress Christina Milan, whose hit “Dip it low” was on top of the charts in 2004, has opened the most adorable Beignet Cafe in Studio City. She and her business partner and co-owner Elizabeth Morris are bringing a little slice of Louisiana to L.A. Therefore, the grand opening came with a huge New Orleans-style procession—which included a float and brass band.
Beignets (French term for pastry) are a New Orleans specialty and a popular dessert in Louisiana and were declared the official state doughnut in 1986. Traditional beignets are fried dough served hot, topped with powdered sugar.

Beignet Box beignets are fluffy, light, airy and not too doughy. With confectionary sugar on top of it, it melts in your mouth. It’s a powdered sugar perfection!
Their menu also includes a selection of sweet teas and coffees which are perfectly complementing the light and fluffy beignets.
