Family Story Time: Jacqueline Woodson and The Year We Learned to Fly

Attend this virtual event presented by California African American Museum and find all about the children’s book “The Year We Learned to Fly”

Author Jacqueline Woodson, recipient of a National Book Award, Coretta Scott King Award, Newbery Honor, Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, and MacArthur “Genius Grant,” reunites with illustrator Rafael López on a follow-up to their New York Times bestselling and award-winning picture book, The Day You Begin.
