Robert Leroy Ripley, a caricaturist and philanthropist was also very passionate about unusual objects and he devoted half of his life to traveling and collecting the strangest objects he could find all over the world. After the publication of his first book, he became very rich and his collection began to grow rapidly. To preserve his memory and to entertain curious minds like his was, since his death in 1949 his memory has been kept alive in each of the objects in his amazing exhibitions.
Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Hollywood is an Odditorium with 2 floors, 15 galleries and over 300 bizarre and unusual exhibits.
You can visit a Genuine Shrunken Head, Michael Jackson’s Portrait made entirely from candy, an updated Star Wars gallery, an original Vampire Killing Kit from the 19th century, and much more. Believe it or Not! It’s a fun time for the whole family since Ripley is a very family friendly attraction and there are many interactive and games that will entertain and amuse children.
